Health & Genomics
We are in an era in which it is becoming increasingly possible to integrate multiple sources of ‘omics data in order to tackle both fundamental and applied research questions in the biological sciences. The methods used include genomics and microbiomics, proteomics and metabolomics, as well as integrative studies spanning the biology of systems. The use of such methods would fall among the broad research areas encompassed by the molecular based analyses of human, animal and plant health, as well as the evolution and population genomic relationships within and between species across all the domains of life.
The departments, centers and sections mentioned below are examples of places where it would be possible to conduct research within the programme area. As is stated in the TALENT Guide for Applicants, applicants are to indicate the research department they see most fit to host their project.
